Calcivanta Neuro Tablets

Bone Strength | Nerve Health | Brain Function | Energy Support | Mood Balance | Calcium Absorption | Neurological Wellness

Calcivanta Neuro is a once-daily tablet that combines Calcium, Vitamin D3, and active-form B vitamins (Methylcobalamin B12, L-Methylfolate, and P5P B6), in a pack of 10. It is a step up from Calcivanta Daily, adding B vitamins to the calcium and D3 base to cover bone nutrition and nerve-related nutritional needs together. Each tablet provides 500 mg of elemental calcium. It is made for adults, especially middle-aged and older adults, and for people whose diets are low in B vitamins, such as some vegetarians.

  • Supports normal nerve function
  • Active forms of B12, folate, and B6
  • Calcium and Vitamin D3 as the core bone pair
  • Provides B vitamins for normal cell metabolism
  • Methylated and phosphorylated B-vitamin forms in one tablet

How to take: One tablet once daily, after a meal. Calcium carbonate absorbs best with food. Do not exceed the labelled dose.

Age group: Adults, especially middle-aged and older adults and those with low B-vitamin intake. Not for children unless prescribed.

COMPOSITION & HOW IT WORKS
  • Calcium Carbonate, 1,250 mg (500 mg elemental calcium): supports bones and teeth.
  • Vitamin D3, 2,000 IU: supports calcium absorption and bone health.
  • Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12), 1,500 mcg: supports nerve function and red blood cell formation.
  • L-Methylfolate Calcium, 1 mg: supports DNA synthesis, cell division, and blood formation.
  • Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (Vitamin B6), 20 mg: supports amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis.

Calcium and Vitamin D3 are the core bone pair: calcium supplies the mineral and D3 helps the body absorb it. B12, B6, and folate work together to support nerve function, cell metabolism, and blood formation. One tablet covers bone and nerve nutrition together.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Take extra care and consult your doctor first if you have kidney stones, kidney disease, high blood calcium, or sarcoidosis.
  • If you have persistent tingling, numbness, or burning in your hands and feet, see a doctor. This tablet is nutritional support, not a treatment.
  • Very high Vitamin B6 intake over a long time can affect nerves, so do not exceed the labelled dose.
  • Folate can mask a B12 deficiency. If symptoms persist, a doctor’s check is still needed.
  • Tell your doctor if you take phenytoin, levodopa (B6 can reduce its effect), thyroid tablets, or antibiotics.

Avoid:

  • Other Vitamin D, calcium, or B-complex supplements, unless your doctor advises.
  • Keep a 2-4 hour gap from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, and bisphosphonates.
  • Do not take it together with iron tablets.

FAQ's

1. What is Calcivanta Neuro?
It is a once-daily tablet with Calcium, Vitamin D3, and active forms of Vitamin B12, folate, and Vitamin B6. It supports normal nerve function, and its calcium and D3 provide bone nutrition.

2. How is it different from Calcivanta Daily?
Calcivanta Daily combines calcium, D3, magnesium, and zinc. Calcivanta Neuro keeps the calcium and D3 base and adds active B vitamins for nerve-related nutritional needs. It does not contain magnesium or zinc.

3. What does “active form” B vitamins mean?
The B vitamins here are already in their methylated or phosphorylated forms: Methylcobalamin (B12), L-Methylfolate, and P5P (B6).

4. When and how should I take it?
Take one tablet once daily, after a meal. Calcium carbonate absorbs best with food.

5. I have tingling or numbness in my hands and feet. Will this tablet fix it?
No. The tablet is nutritional support, not a treatment. Persistent tingling, numbness, or burning needs a doctor’s check.

6. Can I take it with iron tablets, thyroid medicine, or antibiotics?
Do not take it together with iron tablets. Keep a 2-4 hour gap from levothyroxine, tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, and bisphosphonates. Tell your doctor if you take phenytoin or levodopa, as B6 can reduce the effect of levodopa.

7. Can I take other calcium, Vitamin D, or B-complex supplements with it?
Not without medical advice. This tablet already contains calcium, Vitamin D3, and B vitamins, and too much of any of them can cause problems.

8. Is it suitable for children?
It is for adults. Use in children only if prescribed.
