Ironsoul (Iron + Folic Acid + B12 + Vitamin C + Zinc)

Iron Support | Energy Boost | Hemoglobin Formation | Immunity Support | Nerve & Brain Health | Women’s Wellness

Ironsoul is a once-daily iron tablet that combines chelated Iron (Ferrous Bisglycinate) with Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, and Zinc, in a pack of 3 (3 x 10 tablets). Iron is paired with the nutrients involved in building red blood cells and absorbing iron. It supports normal red blood cell formation. It is made for people with low iron intake or higher needs, such as menstruating women and vegetarians, and for anyone advised by a doctor to take iron. Take it only if your iron is low or your doctor has advised it.

  • Supports normal red blood cell formation
  • Iron with Vitamin C, Folic Acid, and B12
  • Chelated (bisglycinate) iron form
  • Vitamin C included to support iron absorption
  • Zinc included for immune and enzyme support

How to take: One tablet once daily, as advised by your doctor. It is best taken on an empty stomach or about 1 hour before a meal. If it upsets your stomach, take it after food.

Age group: Adults, including menstruating women. Adolescents only if a doctor advises. Pregnancy and breastfeeding only with a clinician’s guidance. Not for young children.

COMPOSITION & HOW IT WORKS
  • Ferrous Bisglycinate, 60 mg: chelated iron that supports haemoglobin formation.
  • Folic Acid, 1.5 mg: supports DNA synthesis and red blood cell formation.
  • Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), 15 mcg: supports red blood cell formation and nerve function.
  • Vitamin C, 50 mg: supports the absorption of non-haem iron.
  • Zinc Bisglycinate, 15 mg: supports immune function and enzyme activity.

Iron is the core of the formula, since it helps produce haemoglobin. Vitamin C helps the body absorb non-haem iron better. Folic Acid and B12 work together in cell division and red blood cell formation, while zinc supports immune and enzyme function.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Take it only if your iron is low or your doctor has advised it. Too much iron is harmful.
  • Do not use it if you have haemochromatosis, thalassaemia major, a history of repeated blood transfusions, or iron overload.
  • Take extra care and consult your doctor first if you have stomach ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), or kidney disease.
  • Dark stools, mild constipation, and stomach upset are common. Severe pain, vomiting, or blood in the stool needs a doctor’s attention.
  • Accidental overdose in children is an emergency. Keep it out of children’s reach and seek immediate medical help if swallowed.
  • Folic Acid can mask a B12 deficiency. This tablet includes B12.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use it only with a clinician’s guidance.

Avoid:

  • Tea, coffee, milk, curd, and calcium or antacid products for 2 hours before and after the tablet.
  • Keep at least a 4-hour gap from levothyroxine, and a 2-4 hour gap from tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics.
  • Other iron or zinc supplements, unless your doctor advises.

FAQ's

1. What is Ironsoul?
It is a once-daily tablet with chelated Iron, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, and Zinc. It supports normal red blood cell formation.

2. Why does it contain Vitamin C, Folic Acid, and B12?
Vitamin C helps the body absorb non-haem iron. Folic Acid and B12 support DNA synthesis and red blood cell formation, so iron works alongside the nutrients that help build blood cells.

3. When is the best time to take it?
It is best taken on an empty stomach or about 1 hour before a meal. If it upsets your stomach, take it after food.

4. Will it make my stools dark or cause constipation?
Dark stools, mild constipation, and stomach upset are common with iron supplements. Severe stomach pain, vomiting, or blood in the stool needs a doctor.

5. What should I avoid around the tablet?
Avoid tea, coffee, milk, curd, and calcium or antacid products for 2 hours before and after. Keep at least a 4-hour gap from levothyroxine and a 2-4 hour gap from tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics.

6. Can I take it every day without a blood test?
Take it only if your iron is low or your doctor has advised it, since too much iron is harmful. Ask your doctor whether you need it and for how long.

7. Can I take it during pregnancy?
Only with a clinician’s guidance. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should check with their doctor first.

8. Can I take other iron or zinc supplements with it?
Not without medical advice. This tablet already contains both, and too much can cause problems.

9. Is it safe for children?
It is not for young children. Adolescents should use it only if a doctor advises. Accidental overdose in children is an emergency, so keep it out of reach.
